Scope and glossary

What the service fee covers

The proposed 7% fee pays for the agreed sourcing and coordination service. The written quote must identify included checks, visits, evidence and support, as well as chargeable specialist work or exceptions. Goods, actual freight, insurance and import duties/taxes are separate.

Supplier checks and product standards

Review identity, references, capacity and payment details; agree grade, quantity and packaging; review applicable certificates, samples, inspection and laboratory evidence. Requirements vary by product and destination. Checking a document is not the same as independently certifying a product.

Deposits and payment milestones

A milestone is an agreed checkpoint for releasing a supplier payment. The amount, payer, recipient and supporting evidence must be agreed. Buyer silence, cancellation, partial delivery and disputes need explicit rules. No universal deposit percentage or escrow protection is promised.

Landed cost and savings

Landed cost combines goods, fees and applicable delivery/import charges. The USD example illustrates a fee, not a live offer. Compare equal specifications, accepted quantities, destination terms and taxes before claiming savings.

Pilot status

This is a pilot discussion, not an order acceptance or a claim of available supplier inventory. Coffee in Indonesia is the confirmed starting market. Vietnam sourcing and UK/UAE/China buyer routes are expansion plans.

What the pilot should measure

Accepted-goods cost, delivery against the agreed date, issues and resolution time, buyer effort, and willingness to reorder. A current quote and agreed responsibilities come before a purchase.

Planned AI assistance — not live

We plan to turn enquiries into buying briefs, compare supplier quotations and flag missing or inconsistent documents, with English, Indonesian and Vietnamese language support. These capabilities are not live. People review outputs, qualified partners perform specialist checks, and authorised parties approve purchases and payments. AI would not certify goods or guarantee savings.

Pilot terms and responsibilities

Illustrative USD fee calculation, not a domestic supplier quote or a savings guarantee. Final quotation uses the agreed transaction currency and terms. Before a pilot, name the importer where relevant and agree expenses, claims, refunds and loss allocation. No blanket guarantee or insurance cover is implied.
